Shane Black's movies work when there's chemistry between the characters and the witty banter is funny. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang did it right, maybe The Nice Guys... but this one isn't doing it for me.

After two Japanese wholesome time loop movies, a Japanese spatial loop creepy one. I've liked this one too, in its own midnight movie kind of way.
