Loses half a star for the worst-placed blooper reel in moviegoing history. Sellers and MacLaine are so good as a couple with an absolute void of chemistry, almost the polar opposite of the relationship she had with Jack Lemmon</p>

I&#x27;ve never even seen Friday the 13th, although my respect for Halloween serves as a proxy here. Still, a gorgeous movie with something to say about being a creator within the apocalyptic detritus of fandom; reconciling the hurt propagated for the entertainment of millions with the experiences that we treasure as foundational to our identity.</p>
