At first glance, the powerful Momo Ayase and the nerdy loner Ken Takakase have nothing at all in common, except that they attend the same class at a secondary school. But after a rather nasty break-up with her first boyfriend, she decides on a whim to help the boy, who is being mercilessly bullied by his classmates. This leads to a strange conversation in which it turns out that their differences are even deeper than initially suspected: while Ken is into stories about alien sightings and conspiracy theories but doesn’t believe in paranormal phenomena, Momo’s grandmother, who brought her up after the death of her parents, was a medium, and she doesn’t believe that aliens really exist.
Without further ado, the two make a pact to convince the other that they are right. Momo visits an abandoned hospital that is supposed to be a hotspot for aliens, while Ken visits a tunnel where an evil spirit is rumoured to live. Unfortunately, they soon realise that both stories are true, as Momo is abducted by aliens for reproduction purposes and Ken is cursed by an ancient spirit. Although they manage to escape their precarious situation at the last moment, this is only the beginning of their problems, as suddenly nothing seems impossible, and their entire world is turned upside down.
